Job Summary
Gynecologic Surgeon sought to perform a high-volume of vaginal surgical procedures (e.g., vaginal hysterectomy) and manage benign gynecologic conditions with a focus on vaginal approaches. Responsibilities include preoperative/postoperative care, diagnostic evaluations, minimally invasive techniques prioritized for vaginal routes when indicated, and multidisciplinary collaboration with urogynecology, urology, colorectal surgery, and primary care. Education and mentorship of OB/GYN residents and medical students, participation in quality improvement, and involvement in outpatient obstetric clinics are expected. The role combines outpatient clinic time with operating room duties, within Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. Salary base range $300,000–$325,000 with relocation reimbursement; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/Rx/vision, retirement plan, CME, and professional licensure/board support.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Demonstrated proficiency in vaginal surgical techniques (case logs will be required)
- Advanced expertise in complex vaginal and reconstructive procedures (preferred)
- Experience in teaching or academic medicine (preferred)
- Interest in clinical research or surgical outcomes improvement (preferred)
