Job Summary
Gynecologic Surgeon with a focus on vaginal surgical approaches to manage benign gynecologic conditions (e.g., vaginal hysterectomy, prolapse, incontinence) at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. Role includes high-volume vaginal procedures, pre/postoperative care, multidisciplinary collaboration with urogynecology/urology/colorectal teams, teaching OB/GYN residents and medical students, participation in quality improvement, and outpatient obstetric clinic involvement. Full-time position with relocation reimbursement and a base salary range of $300,000-$325,000; benefits include comprehensive medical plans, retirement, CME time, tuition/licensing support, and loan forgiveness eligibility. May require board certification/eligibility; licensed in NJ or eligible for licensure; emphasis on resident/learner education and advancing minimally invasive vaginal techniques.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Demonstrated proficiency in vaginal surgical techniques (case logs will be required)
- Advanced expertise in complex vaginal and reconstructive procedures (preferred)
- Experience in teaching or academic medicine (preferred)
- Interest in clinical research or surgical outcomes improvement (preferred)
