Job Summary
Gynecologic Surgeon to join Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center focusing on vaginal surgical techniques for benign gynecologic conditions. Responsibilities include performing high-volume vaginal procedures (e.g., vaginal hysterectomy, prolapse repairs), evaluating and managing surgical gynecologic conditions, providing comprehensive perioperative care, utilizing minimally invasive vaginal approaches when appropriate, collaborating with urogynecology/urology/colorectal surgery and primary care teams, and educating OB/GYN residents and medical students. Work includes a mix of outpatient clinic and operating room time with opportunities for teaching, quality-improvement initiatives, and resident/fellow mentorship. Salary base range $300,000–$325,000 plus comprehensive benefits and relocation reimbursement; board certification/eligibility and NJ licensure required or eligible.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Demonstrated proficiency in vaginal surgical techniques (case logs will be required)
- Experience in teaching or academic medicine (preferred)
- Advanced expertise in complex vaginal and reconstructive procedures-demonstrated (preferred)
