Job Summary
Gynecologic Surgeon position at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center focusing on vaginal surgical techniques for benign gynecologic conditions, including vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic organ prolapse repairs, and incontinence management. Responsibilities include pre/postoperative care, diagnostic evaluations, minimally invasive approaches prioritizing vaginal routes when appropriate, multidisciplinary collaboration, OB/GYN resident and student education, quality improvement, and academic teaching opportunities. Outpatient obstetric clinic is part of the care plan; role combines outpatient clinic time with operating room duties. Competitive salary of $300,000-$325,000 base with relocation reimbursement and comprehensive benefits. LICENSED or eligible for licensure in New Jersey; BC/BE required; experience in teaching/academic medicine and advanced vaginal/reconstructive procedures preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Demonstrated proficiency in vaginal surgical techniques
- Advanced expertise in complex vaginal and reconstructive procedures-demonstrated (preferred)
- Experience in teaching or academic medicine (preferred)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
