Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncologist needed for full-time opportunity at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group and SARMC in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality gynecologic oncology care with strong surgical skills in open, minimally invasive, and robotic approaches (da Vinci XI). The role involves a traditional clinic schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm) with an on-call rotation shared with other SAMG providers. The practice supports outreach across the region, reconstruction, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, and RN Navigation through treatment. Requires MD or DO, completion of ACGME/AOA residency and ABOG gynecologic oncology fellowship, ABOG subspecialty certification (or within 3 years), and Idaho/Oregon medical licensure. The package includes relocation, sign-on incentives, student loan repayment, PTO/CME, malpractice tail, and comprehensive benefits. Based on SARMC Boise campus with access to two da Vinci XI robots and a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- ACGME/AOA accredited residency in OB-GYN
- ACOG gynecologic oncology fellowship training
- unrestricted medical license in Idaho and Oregon or ability to obtain
- DEA registration and state Controlled Substances registration
- experience with open, laparoscopic, and robotic (da Vinci) techniques
- ability to provide traditional clinic hours and participate in on-call rotation
- support for outreach and regional cancer care programs
- ability to grant hospital privileges at affiliated facilities
- commitment to multidisciplinary team-based care
- clinical trials and genetic counseling involvement
