Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncology physician opportunity in Boise, Idaho with Saint Alphonsus Medical Group and Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. The role involves joining a two-physician, one-PA team in a full-spectrum gynecologic oncology practice within a multidisciplinary Women’s Health Services Program. Requires MD/DO with completed ACGME/AOA residency and ABOG gynecologic oncology fellowship, board and subspecialty certification (or within 3 years of employment), Idaho and Oregon medical licenses, and DEA/CS registration. The candidate should have strong surgical background including open, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery (da Vinci XI). Responsibilities include high-quality surgical oncology care, participation in cancer care services, genetic counseling, cancer risk assessments, cancer trials, RN navigation through treatment, and outreach across the regional health system. Schedule is traditional clinic Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm with shared call (1:2) and weekend first-call backup by physician provider. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program
- successful completion of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship training program
- board certification and subspecialty certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) (or obtain within 3 years of employment)
- unrestricted full license in Idaho and Oregon to practice medicine across multi-state network
- granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise, SAMC-Nampa and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
- valid controlled substance registration with Idaho & Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- training/experience in conventional, open surgical approaches and strong minimally invasive (laparoscopy and robotic surgery) skills
