Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncology physician opportunity based at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise. The role emphasizes a high-quality, full-spectrum gynecologic oncology program with a strong surgical component, including traditional open and minimally invasive (laparoscopy and robotic) approaches, supported by two da Vinci XI robots. The candidate will participate in multidisciplinary care, outreach across the regional system, reconstructive procedures, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, and RN Navigation through treatment. The schedule is a traditional clinic week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm) with call shared 1:2 with other providers and APP back-up. Requirements include MD/DO, completion of an ACGME/AOA residency, ABOG gynecologic oncology fellowship, board certification (or within 3 years), Idaho and Oregon medical licensure, privileges at SARMC/SAMG, and active controlled substance registration (DEA). Relocation assistance is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- ACGME or AOA accredited residency
- ACOG-accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship
- board certification and ABOG subspecialty certification (or obtain within 3 years of employment)
- unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon
- privileges at SARMC - Boise, SAMC-Nampa and other affiliated hospitals as needed
- valid controlled substance registration with Idaho and Oregon Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
- training/experience in open and minimally invasive (laparoscopy and robotic) surgery
