Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncology opportunity in Boise, Idaho for a Board Certified/Eligible physician to join a well-established practice within SAMG/SARMC. The role emphasizes a full-spectrum gynecologic oncology service with a multidisciplinary team, including two da Vinci XI robots, reconstructive surgery, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, and RN Navigation. The schedule is a traditional clinic work week with call shared 1:2, weekend first call to APP with physician backup, and flexibility coordinated with partners and OR. The candidate should have a strong surgical background in open and minimally invasive approaches (laparoscopy and robotic) and a passion for women’s health within a regionally integrated health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification and subspecialty certification through ABOG or obtain within 3 years of employment
- Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency program
- Completion of ACOG accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship training program
- Unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon to practice across a multi-state network
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho & Oregon Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
- Training/experience in conventional open surgical approaches and strong minimally invasive (laparoscopy and robotic surgery) skills
