Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncology opportunity at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) and Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) in Boise, Idaho. Full-time physician to join a two-physician, one-PA practice within a multi-disciplinary Women’s Health Services Program. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care with a strong surgical background in traditional open and minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopy and robotic surgery). The hire will support outreach across the region, with two da Vinci XI robots, reconstructive surgery, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, cancer risk assessments, and RN Navigation through the treatment process. Schedule is a traditional clinic week (8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday) with 1:2 call sharing and weekend first call with APP backup. Must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed ACGME/AOA residency, completed ACOG gynecologic oncology fellowship, possess ABOG board/subspecialty certification (or obtain within 3 years), and hold Idaho and Oregon licenses; privileges at SARMC, SAMC-Nampa and affiliated hospitals; and valid DEA/controlled substance registrations. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program
- ACOG accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship training program
- board certification and subspecialty certification through the ABOG (or within 3 years of employment)
- unrestricted full license in Idaho and Oregon to practice medicine across a multi-state network
- granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise, SAMC-Nampa and other system hospitals
- valid controlled substance registration with Idaho & Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- training/experience in conventional open surgical approaches and strong minimally invasive (laparoscopy and robotic) skills
