Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncologist sought to join Northwestern Medicine’s multidisciplinary gynecologic oncology program in Illinois. Role focuses on leading and expanding a community-based program with access to cutting-edge minimally invasive and robotic surgery, chemotherapy, and clinical trials. Ideal candidate is fellowship-trained in gynecologic oncology, BE/BC, and has strong interest in contributing to an established oncology program across Huntley and McHenry Hospitals. Opportunities include participation in cooperative groups and industry-sponsored trials, involvement in outcomes-based research, and collaboration with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, interventional radiologists, and other specialists. The program supports advanced technology (two Xi daVinci robots, PET/CT, 640-slice CT), a dedicated GYO nurse navigator, genetic counselors, and palliative and supportive care resources; clinical appointments may be available with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC physician
- fellowship trained in gynecologic oncology
- strong interest in oncology program and team-based care
- experience with clinical research and clinical trials desirable
- advanced laparoscopic and robotic skills preferred
- involvement with multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex surgical oncology
- clinical appointment with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
