Job Summary
Gynecologic Oncologist sought to join Northwestern Medicine’s multidisciplinary gynecologic oncology program in Huntley/McHenry, IL. Fellowship-trained BE/BC physician with strong interest in expanding a community-based program, delivering advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and contributing to clinical trials, outcomes research, and survivorship/quality-of-life clinics. Role involves collaboration with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists; access to cutting-edge technologies (2 Xi daVinci robots, PET/CT, advanced CT); participation in tumor boards and cooperative-group trials; hospital privileges at NM Huntley and NM McHenry. Salary range: $405,000–$545,000, with comprehensive clinical and academic support including palliative care, nurse navigators, genetic counselors, dietitians, social workers, and Living Well Cancer Resource Center; clinical appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Gynecologic Oncology
- Fellowship trained in Gynecologic Oncology
- experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgery
- interest in clinical research and clinical trials
- participation in cooperative groups and outcomes-based research
- experience with multidisciplinary oncology teams
- ability to obtain hospital privileges at NM Huntley and NM McHenry Hospitals
