Job Summary
Plan and execute fun, educational, and instructional gymnastic classes, building effective relationships with participants, parents, and staff while promoting a positive environment. Lead and guide youth in meaningful, safe activities that nurture their potential using the Y voice and core values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty. Maintain a positive atmosphere and model organizational values to enrich the spiritual, mental, physical, and social quality of lives. Minimum 16 years of age required with gymnastics teaching experience in tumbling and apparatus. CPR and First Aid certifications must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Must be CPR certified within 90 days of hire
- Experience in teaching gymnastics, with all aspects of tumbling and apparatus
- Must be able to model the core values; Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty
- Must have commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA and uphold its values and ethics
- CPR and First Aid certifications required or within 90 days of hire
