Job Summary
Teach gymnastics, tumbling, and cheerleading classes to children ages 2–10 while managing studio operations and participant safety. Provide close supervision during all activities, ensure equipment is maintained, and keep accurate documentation of incidents, attendance, and behavior. Maintain an organized workspace, communicate with caregivers regarding child development, and collaborate with the Sports and Recreation Director on lesson plans. Work cooperatively with staff, participate in training sessions and meetings, and perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Proven experience teaching at least one specialty topic including but not limited to; Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Cheer leading
- At least 1-3 year experience teaching Gymnastics classes to 2yo-10yo children
- Outgoing, energetic, and engaging
- Ability to teach students of varying levels within the same class
- Hours: Weekday, evening, weekend class schedules
Desired Qualifications
- CPR, First Aid, AED, and child abuse prevention training within 90 days of hire (preferred)
