Job Summary
Gymnastics Director oversees YMCA gymnastics programming including instructional classes, ninja program, camps, and competitive team programs; serves as Head Coach for the gymnastics team and provides hands-on support across programs; develops and implements staff, program and facility usage schedules to maintain and grow operations; leads planning and execution of gymnastics-related events and showcases; recruits, hires, and develops gymnastics staff and coaches; leads staff meetings and trainings to promote communication and program development; builds strong relationships with members, families, and the community; promotes programs and expands outreach to grow participation; upholds risk management practices and ensures safety policies and regulations; develops and manages department budgets to meet revenue goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in gymnastics programming, coaching, or related leadership role
- Experience leading competitive gymnastics programs preferred
- CPR/AED, First Aid, and Safe Sport certifications (or ability to obtain)
