Job Summary
Gymnastics leadership role focused on coaching, program coordination, and front-desk management for Atlanta School of Gymnastics. Responsibilities include assisting the program coordinator/manager with practices, training, lesson-plan development, athlete management and skill assessment scheduling; leading groups of up to 8 kids in a safe, positive environment using Recreational Curriculum and Team Progression goals; excellent verbal communication with management, participants, parents, coworkers, and community partners; maintaining a positive, motivated team culture; and ensuring staff, students, and parents receive a constructive experience. Requirements include First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), USAG Professional or instructor certification (or able to obtain within 90 days), coaching experience across youth gymnastics/youth instruction, and availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The role emphasizes growth, leadership, mentorship, and collaboration within a 750-student gymnastics program, with room for advancement and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire
- USAG Professional or instructor certified, or able to obtain within 90 days of hire
- 2 years or more of youth sports and/or gymnastics instructor experience or 5 years or more of teaching or youth instruction in schools or daycares (Camp Coordinator/Director)
- 3 years or more of team gymnastics coaching experience or 6 years or more of recreational gymnastics coaching experience (Recreational Coordinator/Director)
- Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
