Job Summary
Provide a safe, encouraging environment for gymnasts to learn skills within progressive or competitive programs. Arrive 15 minutes early with equipment set up, then evaluate participant skills, complete progress and incident reports, and manage behavior using positive support techniques. Assist in instruction and character development while maintaining active supervision and communicating with parents. Attend required staff meetings and trainings. This part-time hourly role offers free YMCA membership, flexible scheduling, and discounts on child care and camp programs. Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- 3-5 years of experience in gymnastics setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoyment from working with children
- Desire to keep positive relationships with their parents
Desired Qualifications
- USAG Safety Certification
