Job Summary
Gym Monitors are responsible for monitoring gym activities and enforcing YMCA operating policies to ensure a safe and clean environment for participants. Duties include maintaining surveillance over gym areas, providing excellent customer service, performing opening and closing procedures, and assisting with equipment usage. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR and First Aid Certification, and have a flexible schedule to work varied hours. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain immediately upon hire
- Flexible schedule
- Available to work when groups have contracted the gym for usage

- Experience in customer service
- Experience in gym/fitness membership-based organization or similar environment

Additional Requirements
- Adhere to Abuse Risk Management policies
- Attend required abuse risk management training
