Greet members and guests with enthusiasm; tour potential members around the club to sign them up for memberships; sign members up for startup sessions with Blink Personal Trainers; answer calls professionally and energetically; execute opening/closing operational procedures to ensure smooth club operations; manage member requests with urgency; help maintain a spotless club environment with frequent bending, lifting and walking to organize equipment; maintain regular and punctual attendance; role is a Gym Floor Associate at PureGym with a pay rate of $17.00/hr, located in New York, NY and requiring onsite presence at the front desk with strong customer service and fitness enthusiasm.
Required Qualifications
- Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-20 lbs frequently and 45 lbs occasionally
- Able to remain in a stationary position at the front desk for the majority of the workday
- World class customer service skills
- Works hard, multi-tasks and is a problem solver
- Passion for fitness
