Job Summary
GWTG-CAD Registry Abstractor (Remote) at American Data Network seeks experienced abstractors to support cardiovascular registry abstraction for assigned healthcare clients. The role requires 2+ years of hands-on GWTG-CAD abstraction, independent review of clinical documentation, adherence to registry specifications and inclusion/exclusion criteria, interpretation of cardiology-related documentation, accurate data entry into registry platforms/EHRs, and meeting deadlines with high accuracy. Contractors may work part-time (minimum 15 hours/week) or full-time, must maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with account leads and client contacts. Preferred candidates have experience with GWTG platform tools, IRR/QA/audit processes, and healthcare quality reporting, and must have reliable remote hardware and connectivity for a distributed work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of recent GWTG-CAD Registry abstraction experience
- Ability to independently abstract GWTG-CAD cases using registry specifications and clinical documentation
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation review, and medical record interpretation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through
- Comfort working in multiple EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems as assigned
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Contractors must have high-speed, secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors
