Job Summary
Analyze, document, and validate business requirements while facilitating workshops with stakeholders and architects. Design functional solutions aligned with Guidewire capabilities and participate in configuration and evolution of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter modules. Write functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure traceability between needs and deliverables. Support functional and user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and Agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, and retrospectives. Perform impact analyses and recommend best practices within the property and casualty insurance sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional analysis
- Significant experience with the Guidewire platform
- Excellent knowledge of at least one of the following modules: Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter
- Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in writing functional documentation
- Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Guidewire Certification
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud
- Knowledge of REST/SOA API integrations
- Experience in migration or digital transformation within the insurance sector
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
