Job Summary
Chair to lead GSTF's Board of Trustees, guiding governance, strategy, and external relationships for a high-impact charitable foundation with a focus on urban health and healthier, fairer communities. The role involves acting as an ambassador for GSTF, supporting fundraising ambitions, and ensuring robust governance, with an anticipated commitment of 4-6 days per month. The Chair will liaise with partners across NHS, philanthropy, academia, and local communities, and will lead board discussions, governance oversight, risk management, and policy development to advance GSTF’s mission in London and beyond.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a board, governance and strategy
- Pro bono or charitable sector experience preferred
- Strong stakeholder engagement and fundraising awareness
- Excellent communication and ambassadorial skills
- Ability to guide and challenge senior leadership
- Commitment to health equity and community impact
