Job Summary
Gun Vault Specialist performs backroom maintenance of firearm-related processes, acquires and disposes firearms, maintains ATF ARMS inventory, conducts monthly firearms audits, completes required forms, and provides counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise. The role requires adherence to all company, state, and federal firearms regulations, and involves identifying customer needs, recommending products, training, and ensuring safe handling and storage of firearms.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Retail
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to legally own and possess Firearms under Federal and State Law
- Knowledge of ATF regulations
- Knowledge of 4473 forms and firearm transfers
- Experience with inventory control and audits
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Ability to follow complex compliance regulations
- Ability to handle firearms safely and securely
