Job Summary
Backroom maintenance of firearms processes and inventory, handling firearms in compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations (ATF ARMS system, 4473, background checks), and maintaining firearm inventory. Provides counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise, greets customers, assists with product recommendations, and supports in-store pickup and CLUB/VOC programs. Performs receiving and disposing of firearms, conducts monthly audits, ensures proper forms and documentation, trains staff on firearms-related procedures, and keeps the firearms area clean, organized, and properly stocked while upholding safety and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- VALID NEW YORK STATE PISTOL PERMIT REQUIRED
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Retail
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to legally own and possess Firearms under Federal and State Law
