Job Summary
The Gun Loader will be responsible for loading perforating guns with detonating cords and charges for shipment. Key responsibilities include complying with safety regulations, conducting quality control for subs and associated equipment, assembling and loading components, and ensuring compliance with DOT and ATF guidelines. Experience in gun loading, clearance to handle explosive materials, ability to lift up to 40lbs, and basic computer skills are required. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or GED
- Receive and maintain clearance to operate explosive material with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF)
Desired Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a gun loading capacity preferred
- Class A CDL preferred but not required
- Forklift experience
- Basic computer experience
