Job Summary
Quality Inspector responsible for checking and setting up guitars and basses, ensuring products adhere to global specifications and function properly. The role conducts visual inspection and electronic tests, ensuring electric guitars, electric basses and acoustic guitars are set up properly and display the desired playability while also verifying cosmetics and included accessories. Based in Elwood, IL, this temporary position involves inspecting and evaluating new and returned guitars, making adjustments to improve playability, and ensuring products conform to factory guidelines. Must have a High School Diploma with relevant experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma plus 3 years related experience
- strong understanding how to properly setup a guitar
- buff small finish flaws and test electronics
- proficient in guitar repair/setup and have thorough knowledge of musical equipment
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- must be detail-oriented and focused on the task at hand
- proactive with thinking about better, more efficient ways to complete tasks
