Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test scripts for Guidewire Policy Center using Selenium and GT framework. Develop and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to translate requirements into comprehensive test automation scenarios. Drive adoption of best practices and standards to ensure scalability and maintainability of automation suites. Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to facilitate timely resolution. Mentor junior team members in test automation techniques and tools. Stay current with industry trends to continuously enhance automation capabilities. This onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of test automation experience, and strong leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software test automation, with a focus on Guidewire Policy Center
- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and GT framework for UI and API test automation
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to mentor and inspire team members
Desired Qualifications
- Guidewire certification(s) related to Policy Center
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity of other test automation tools and technologies
- Knowledge of insurance domain and Guidewire InsuranceSuite
