Job Summary
Guidewire CC Configuration Developer (Sr. Associate) at PwC Acceleration Centers. Responsibilities include evaluating and refining module estimates, designing and implementing solutions, facilitating testing, maintaining onsite communications, joining scrum sessions, and participating in Center of Excellence initiatives. You will mentor others, analyze client needs, and deliver solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter with Gosu scripting, UI configuration, and data model extensions. Strong emphasis on collaboration across global teams, understanding business context, and applying critical thinking to solve complex concepts; experience in SCRUM/Agile and knowledge of application servers (Tomcat/JBoss) and SCM tools (Git, SVN) preferred. Bachelor's degree required and 5 years in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain, with hands-on Guidewire configuration and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain
- Hands-on experience configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter (e.g., product model, business rules, workflows)
- Professional experience with the Guidewire platform including Gosu scripting, UI configuration, and Data Model extensions
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases and writing SQL queries
