Job Summary
Technical Lead in the Technology Consulting team responsible for Guidewire implementation projects. Lead and mentor the project team, interface with onsite coordinators and customer representatives, plan and monitor deliverables, and provide regular status reports to management. Willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Build a quality culture, manage direct reports, foster teamwork, train and mentor project resources, and participate in organization-wide people initiatives. Requires hands-on Demonstrable Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration experience within Property & Casualty Insurance, and either Personal Lines or Commercial Lines product knowledge. Strong Java/JEE, XML, Web Services, SQL, ANT, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, Enterprise Messaging, and Tomcat/Websphere/WebLogic expertise. Excellent client-facing communication and leadership abilities with prior client-facing experience. EY is a global consulting organization with a focus on insurance domain projects and Guidewire implementations/upgrades, and travel to client sites is expected.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BTech/MCA with 3 to 7 years of experience
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration
- Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
- Knowledge/experience in Personal Lines products (Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners, Personal Umbrella) OR Commercial Lines products (Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation, Farm, Commercial Umbrella, Farm Umbrella, Business Owners, etc.)
- Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT
- Strong in PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
- Strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic
- Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from Insurance domain background
- Understanding of software development best practices
- Excellent business communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Prior Client facing experience
- Experience with Guidewire implementations and upgrades in Insurance preferred
- Experience in Insurance domain (Property & Casualty) preferred
- Prior Client facing experience
