Job Summary
The Guidance Secretary provides clerical and administrative support to the school counseling department, serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and community members seeking guidance services. Responsibilities include maintaining confidential student records, processing enrollments/withdrawals/transfers, updating the student information system, scheduling appointments and counselor calendars, preparing reports and documents, supporting registration periods and orientation events, coordinating testing information, and assisting with organizing college visits, scholarships, and career resources. Must have strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office and student information systems (PowerSchool preferred).
