Job Summary
Guidance Counselor for ABRAHAM LINCOLN SCHOOL (PreK–3). Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social-emotional development; collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to address student needs; support PBIS and school-wide SEL initiatives; promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment; demonstrate strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills; must have Valid Maine School Counselor Certification and experience in elementary to high school settings; role includes teaching SEL classes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maine School Counselor Certification
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, adolescent development, and counseling best practices
- Ability to teach SEL classes
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
