Guidance Counselor (.40)

Guidance Counselor position (0.40 FTE, 9-month) at Plainfield Academy in Will County, IL. Responsibilities include assisting students with course selection and scheduling, monitoring academic and attendance records to identify at-risk students, fostering a positive school climate, building positive relationships with students, parents and staff, effective written and verbal communication, collaborative teamwork, administering appropriate academic tests, participating in staff development and school improvement activities, and participating in events outside regular hours (orientation, open houses, conferences).
