Job Summary
Guest Services Staff at University of Wisconsin–Madison venue sites to warmly welcome attendees, assist with event setup (equipment, signage), monitor areas for cleanliness and safety, answer questions about the event and facilities, guide guests to seating/restrooms/concessions/exits, handle inquiries and issues professionally, collaborate with event staff and vendors, assist with crowd management, and uphold professional standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred)
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event-related roles is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
