Job Summary
Guest Services Supervisor at Audubon Zoo oversees daily Guest Services operations under the Guest Services Manager, coaching and training staff, promoting sales (including General Sales, Memberships, Wild Encounters, Audubon attractions), greeting guests, managing crowds, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include maintaining professional appearance, effective radio communications, policy compliance, fostering team relations, supporting multiple Guest Services locations, and coordinating coverage for after-hours events. Additional duties include staff development, cash handling oversight, processing voids/refunds, planning meal breaks, inventory organization, and assisting with payroll and rental activity reports. Desired skills include leadership, customer-service excellence, adaptability, organizational and technical proficiency, and a proactive, positive team-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of two years of cashier experience
- Proficiency in computer literacy
