Job Summary
Guest Services position in a retail garden/home décor environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers promptly, developing professional relationships with customers and co-workers, assisting customers to determine needs and educate them on right selections, supporting merchandising and operational procedures, maintaining merchandise stock levels and presentation, ensuring signage is current, stocking/rotating products, cross-training across departments, efficiently operating the POS, assisting in floral decorations and home décor displays, cleaning fixtures and areas, and participating in learning and development activities. Requires customer-service oriented demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Ability to work both inside and outside environmental conditions
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
