Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer experience in a retail garden/home décor environment by greeting customers, determining needs, educating on product selections, and assisting with merchandising and operations. Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels and presentation, operating the POS system, rotating products, creating floral and home décor displays, ensuring signage is current, cross-training across departments, supporting management with merchandising and procedures, and participating in development activities. Requires enthusiasm for horticulture and seasonal merchandise, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in varying conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both indoors and outdoors environments, rain or shine
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
