Job Summary
Greet customers promptly to create a welcoming retail experience; assist customers in identifying needs and educate them to select appropriate products; support merchandising and operational procedures, maintain stock levels and proper signage, and rotate products as directed. Cross-train across departments; efficiently operate the POS system for transactions; assist with floral decorations and home décor displays; keep fixtures and work areas clean; participate in learning and development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
