Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and build relationships to enhance guest experience in a Mequon retail setting. Assist customers by assessing needs, educating on product selections (horticulture, floral and home décor), and guiding purchases. Support merchandising and operational procedures, maintain stock levels and presentation, ensure signage accuracy, rotate products, and cross-train across departments. Efficiently operate the POS, handle payments, and provide receipts. Contribute to floral and décor displays and participate in product knowledge meetings and one-on-one coaching to support the team.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions (rain or shine)
- Willingness to participate in learning and development activities
- Ability to operate POS and handle transactions accurately
- Cross-training across multiple departments
