Job Summary
Greet guests, answer questions about the resort and surrounding area, and maintain a friendly, helpful attitude while covering base area, on-mountain, and parking lot work zones. Set up, operate, and maintain work areas, ensuring a safe and neat environment. Assist in outdoor area upkeep, manage parking lot counts and abandoned vehicles, and collect, handle, and store ski/snowboard equipment. Conduct market research surveys with on-site guests when necessary and report complaints to a supervisor. Maintain knowledge of weather conditions, snow reports, and special events while ensuring organized entry and exit. Work weekends, holidays, and long hours in wet, cold, or hot conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to frequency lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
- Ability to be flexible with your schedule and be willing to work weekends, holidays, long hours
- Ability to handle and manage confidential information
- Ability to possess a professional appearance at all times
- Can handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of guest service industry or ski resort industry
- Ability to maintain a working knowledge of the resort's weather conditions, snow reports, base area locations, and special events
