Job Summary
Provide directions, assistance, and information to ensure customer satisfaction while monitoring electronic gaming devices on the casino floor. Participate in special promotions, resolve disputes, and assist with service or repair requirements for gaming equipment. Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure compliance with all casino regulations, laws, and cash control policies. Cashes out gaming tickets and makes change for patrons while demonstrating an upbeat demeanor. Requires ability to work with peers, regulatory personnel, and resolve issues with difficult guests or staff. Must pass a background check and obtain necessary licenses or permits from applicable regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel
- Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required
