Job Summary
Guest Services Representative handles front office functions including reservations, check-in/check-out, and guest issue resolution. Represents the hotel professionally, supports front-office operations in the General Manager’s absence, and contributes to safety/compliance, banking duties, and staff guidance. Requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, math for revenue/cash handling, and the ability to work long hours as business conditions demand. The role emphasizes guest relations, upselling, and delivering a friendly, efficient service in a hospitality setting for an InTown Suites property in Macon, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance
- Functioning automobile
- Read, speak, write and understand English
- General computer proficiency
- Ability to read, understand, interpret information in reports and internal hotel information
- Ability to handle administrative duties and interact with guests and staff
- Ability to manage multiple activities in stressful situations
- Time management skills
- Ability to balance a cash bank and calculate room revenue/occupancy
