Job Summary
Guest Services Representative will assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front office related functions. Will cover front office duties when the General Manager is not present. Responsibilities include taking reservations accurately, checking guests in and out promptly, representing the hotel professionally, handling guest issues, ensuring safety and security standards are met, and supporting property staff as needed. Must be proficient with computers, able to read and interpret reports, manage cash deposits in GM’s absence, and uphold high standards of guest relations and service. Requires readiness to work long hours, multitask under pressure, and travel to other properties within the market as needed. Perks include comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver’s license (if required for the role)
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret information from reports and internal hotel information
- Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff
- Proficient in computer operating systems
- General computer proficiency and ability to operate a variety of front office tools
- Ability to compose and express thoughts concisely for effective communication
- Ability and flexibility to work long hours as business conditions demand
- Ability to manage multiple activities and handle stressful situations with time constraints
- Knowledge of front office and related department operations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Upselling techniques and cash handling skills
- Ability to supervise/assist in staff training and in absence of General Manager
