Job Summary
As a part-time Guest Services Representative, you will be key in enhancing the game experience for fans by ushering, scanning tickets, providing assistance to guests with disabilities, and ensuring safety at the ballpark. Strong communication, multitasking skills, and a positive attitude are essential, alongside the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays. Bilingual candidates are preferred, and team members must commit to working at least 300 hours during the Astros’ regular season home games.
Required Qualifications
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while handling difficult situations
- Comfortable working with a variety of groups
- Willingness to work independently and in a team oriented environment
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to regularly work on your feet for long hours
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge about the Houston Astros
- Bilingual-English/Spanish or Japanese
- Knowledge and experience with ticketing apps
Additional Requirements
- Must be a local Houston resident
- Weekend availability is a MUST
