Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and foster a welcoming atmosphere in the retail location; assist customers by determining needs and educating them to select appropriate items; support merchandising and operational procedures, maintain stock levels and proper presentation, and ensure signage is current. Cross-train across multiple departments, operate the POS accurately, and contribute to floral and home décor displays. Maintain clean fixtures and spaces, participate in learning activities, and collaborate with management to uphold the store’s standards.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions (rain or shine)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
