Job Summary
Greet customers promptly to create a welcoming retail experience; assist customers to determine needs and educate them on selections; support merchandising and operational procedures; maintain merchandise stock levels and presentation, ensure signage is current, and rotate products as directed. Cross-train across multiple departments, operate the POS to process payments, and assist with floral decorations and home décor displays. Maintain store cleanliness, participate in product knowledge meetings and 1-on-1 discussions, and collaborate with management to uphold customer service standards in both indoor and outdoor environments. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are required, along with a passion for horticulture and seasonal décor.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must have a passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, rain or shine
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
