Guest Services Operations, Shuttle Driver Part Time

Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to rooms while handling luggage, and provide directions or arrange transportation via hotel van or golf cart. Park and retrieve vehicles promptly, ensure keys remain secure, and maintain both vans and carts through washing, cleaning, and fueling. Keep front drive and lobby areas tidy, including ashtrays, trash, and sidewalks, while adhering to all safety policies and guest confidentiality requirements. Ensure uniform cleanliness, attend required meetings, and assist other departments as needed. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 40lbs, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid US Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including golf carts and vans
- Ability to read and interpret road signs in English
- Ability to read, understand and comply with the rules and regulations of the State and Federal DOT
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with all students, parents, guests and staff
- Ability to prepare concise records and reports
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple schedules
- A superior work ethic
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of event set up, tear down and execution
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Requires a background check upon offer
- Requires a drug test upon offer
