Job Summary
Process ticket sales, redemptions, and memberships at the Box Office while ushering guests into the Digital Dome and assisting with Gift Shop operations. Greet and direct visitors, answer questions, and enforce museum policies to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience during evening hours. Accurately handle cash, credit card, and mobile transactions using point-of-sale systems while maintaining cleanliness in work areas. Assist with event setup, breakdown, and parking management as needed. Requires Wednesday-Sunday availability, holidays, and special events; hourly rate $14.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Evening and weekend availability
- Ability to work holidays and special event nights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Positive attitude
- Basic computer and POS (point-of-sale) skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Comfort working in dark/dim spaces
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Continually required to stand

- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Continually required to talk or hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
