Job Summary
Greet, scan tickets, and usher guests to their seats while providing directional assistance throughout the Iowa Events Center. Monitor access to restricted areas, control entry points, and ensure emergency exits remain clear. Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team by directing guests to exits and assist those with special needs. Report policy violations to your supervisor and complete incident reports on a timely basis. Move between various positions including door guards, suite staff, and ticket taking as event needs dictate. Follow all safety standards and procedures while maintaining a safe environment for all guests.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Customer service experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work both independently and as part of team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work the majority of Arena events at the Iowa Events Center
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
