Guest Services Associate (Float)

Job Summary
Welcome families to the House, manage check-ins, check-outs, and visitor registration, and orient guests to amenities while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Uphold organizational policies by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and escalating urgent matters to leadership as appropriate. Coordinate transportation, connect families to support resources, and supervise shift volunteers by reinforcing procedures and providing guidance. Maintain accurate guest database records, complete incident documentation, and ensure facility cleanliness through routine sanitizing, restocking, and safety walk-throughs. Accept donations, issue receipts, and monitor supply levels to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience in a family-centered hospitality, nonprofit, or human services environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills and comfort using basic office software and communication platforms
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Schedule flexibility along with weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
