Job Summary
Provide excellent guest service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism. Uphold company culture and drive excellence by setting performance expectations and guiding associates to deliver outstanding daily interactions. Support team growth through supervision and facilitation of bagger training while overseeing department productivity and labor alignment. Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing loss prevention policies and addressing hazards. Maintain regular attendance and provide adequate notice for occasional absences. Perform other duties as assigned during afternoon, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year in grocery
- 6 months in ag leadership role like Customer Service Representative
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
- Ability to walk in the store
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly
- Full range of upper body motion in order to occasionally lift product
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work outside assisting guests, monitoring associates and conditions for short periods of time
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates while managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Capacity to lead, educate, and train others
- Thorough understanding of all safety policies
- Ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and address safety hazards
- Ability to work outside assisting guests, monitoring associates and conditions for short periods of time
