Job Summary
Maintenance Attendant for a hotel. Key duties include assisting with preventative maintenance tasks for refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and A/C units; monitoring electric, gas, and water usage; completing maintenance projects to specifications; following OSHA safety procedures; performing preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas; logging equipment findings; reporting safety or security concerns; maintaining organized workspaces; and being available for evenings, weekends, holidays and potential on-call responsibilities. Requires basic knowledge of building systems, problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of maintenance systems, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Familiarity with safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
